| 2 Nile warmup. Then 3x1 mile. Times were 5:47 slight up hil . Then 6:10 with a bigger up hill. Then a 5:32 with a slight downhill. I'm running in a canyon so there are not any flat parts. 2.5 cool down. |

| Hill workout up at clear creek. It was pretty tough. It was a .37 mile hill with quite a bit of elevatio . I can't see elevation on my watch and I dont have a computer to loom at so I dont know but it was toug . It was also at 6:00 so I was just tired. 2ish cool down. |

| I slept through my alarm and so I showed up at the park at like 7:20 and started up on hogs. I wasn't sure if I would see someone or not but I went backwards hogs because I wanted to run with someone. 3.5 miles up I saw JAcob Jensen adn Spencer and ran back with them. Then I finished my run on timberline loop and a little more. I didn't know it was suppose to be flat today but whatever.

| Ran 9.55 with the team and then I went to my friends eagle scout project and helped. It was a soccer camp for special needs kids. I did my eagle project a while back and he decided to do the same thing I did. We did a modest run. It was a good time.

| 9.4 Miles today running. .1 playing ping pong in my basement.We started out by running to the start of the Alpine days 5k course. We then continued to runn the course and then we did the whole thing. Then we started our 2 mile tempo at about 5:53 ap. Ryan just wanted us to get our legs moving a little bit. Then we did 2ish miles of slower pace. We are going to be doing 2 a days at xc camp so Ill be posting at the end of this week and update yall on my Running.

| AM: Ran this super hilly run. We ran 11.09 miles with 2300 feet of elevation gain. These 3 hound dogs came with us and were like serpentining inbetween us. I felt super good today and think I am in the best shape I have been in in a very long time. 10:39 ap. LOL. Iced afterwards and ate food.
PM: 4.05 mile shakeout at around an 7:45-8 minute pace. Lots of miles today. Felt really good tho.

| AM: 9.5 miles. 839 feet elevation gain. Ran past 4 different ponds. We saw one that we wanted to come back up and make a rope swing on but we never did.
PM: We chased some cows down to there pen where they live. 4 miles ish. I also got cow poop on my leg because I was chasing him and he pooped on a bush and I didnt see it and I ran through it.

| 10 miles this morning with 1584 feet of elevation gain. Last day up at buckhorn ranch. It was the way we came down on the first long run. Went down carefully because there were lots of rocks and I didn't want to twist my ankle.
We have the race tomorrow that probably decides varsity.

| Today we had the Alpine days 5k. Giot there at like 6:30 and went to warm up. Warmed up a little less then 2 miles and then did some strides. Went over to the line and we had a delay while we were sitting on the line. Did another couple strides and then we toed the line. Ryan started us and we were off. Kaleb sprinted to the front which I thought was kindof funny but he beat me. I stayed back with trevor and steven for the first 1/2 mile and then they fell back so I went and caught up to litttle warner and they at about the mile mark I was 20-30 feet behind kaleb and craik and justin. Zack and seth had taken off. I moved up a little bit and dropped the gap to about 15 feet. When we got to the cemetary hill Craik and Kaleb pulled away hard. I caught craik on the down hill and then we went for kaleb. We were running together for like the last 1/2 mile until they started pulling away. With about 100 left I tried to kick with everythning I had left but Kaleb and Craik beat me by like 5 seconds. Its a real bummer becasue now I wont be on the grass relays team most likely. Cooled down 5 miles in 3 different little runs.
I hit 68 miles this week so thats cool.

| Today we had our first interval workout. We warmed up 2 miles and with the last half ish we set out the course at crrekside park. We started out on our 1000s. times were 3:07 3:09 3:12 3:11 3:14. I kindof got tired by the end. Slowly cooled down until 8 miles. Zack and the rest of my car of people we took wanted to go to stake dodgeball so they went and then I took the car and went to ice in the canyon. When I was about 6 minutes in I saw someone walk up. I could really tell who it was because it was getting kindof dark but then I heard galens voice say my name. He was out on his nightly run. We talked for a little bit and then he headed out to finish his run so SHOUTOUT to galen. Icing felt really nice tonight.

| My body was completly recked today. Slothfully finished 8 miles and layed down at the park and struggled in my misery. Got a drink from the fountain of youth which revived me somewhat and then stretched. Then the rest of the guys came in from their little loop they did. Went home and stretched some more and did 1 minute of planking and then had zack roll me out. Ate some breakfast casserole for breakfast.

| Today we headed up into lambert and then we ran 5 mile loop plus timberline loop. We did a 4 mile tempo in the middle of our run. First mile was just about 6:00 then the next was 5:45 then 5:45 then 6:05. The first and last were probabaly a little bit fast because we started 4.19 miles in and I forgot to do a lap so whatever. Felt pretty good today. I have been having zack roll me out after running and I think it is helping my legs bc yesterday I could like bearly move.

| This morning we had a splendid time doing hogs. It was me seth zack justin jake bybee and seths brother. He got some sweet pictures.
We went over to justins for breakfast and played some pool.
I am making some fruit leather so hopefully it turns out.

| 2.1 ish warmup. Then we did 6x666 hill repeats. Times were around 2:11 on all of them. I dont have my watch with me so thats not exact. Hills kill me so I need work on those. I do lots better on interval workouts. 2 ish cool down. I felt like I was going to throwup on the cool down so I jsut went my own pace and kept it nice and slow. First day running in xc class.

| 9 miles running. Today good ole TP and Jared came withus. The run kindof sucked becasue it was boring and I had to stop to poop like 5 times. And then on the way back I had to stop for like 3 minutes because I felt like I was going to throw up.

| 2.45 warmup. Trevor and I warmed up a little bit early because they were like 20 minutes behind. But I jsut kept myself moving. Went to the bull pin and chilled there. Did some strides at the line. The first gun went off and like noone was even ready. But I still had a good start. Of course someone had to trip and make the race be called back. On the second gun I had a little worse of a start but still not bad. I stuck towards the front but never led. This kid wearing a black shirt took it out sprinting which I always find kindof funny. By about a half mile in, it was me and a bunch of davis kids. I stuck with the top group of them which was the top group of the race. Coming through a mile it was me and 3 davis kids. One other davis kid was close but he tripped on the gaulet so sucks to be him. We went through with a half mile left and it was the same order. Jacob Vaugn had pulled away from us which I didn't really notice. When we got to the striaght away before the gaulet I caught 1 of the 2 davis kids by me and after the gaulet I caught the other. I was happy with my time but wish I would have went with the other davis kid. I beat craik and kaleb which made me happy. Cooled down 2.1 and then ran around cheering for the relays teams which got me 4.5. Lots of miles today for a race.
PM: Reffed 2 long hot games so I went to ice after doign those.
Happy with the day. And the black light dance is tonight so im PUMPED!!!!

| Today Craik seth me and justin left before the freshmen got here bc craik had to go. Justin and I ran 3.25 and then went to where we meet. Ryan told me that he was told that I have good dance moves, which is correct. We talked for like 5ish minutes then went and did canyon and back. Strides stretching and then Icing.

| Raced today. I was happy with my time. Ryan wanted us to push it and go faster then we think we really should have on the first mile- two miles and see what we could do on the 3rd mile. First mile was 5:01, next was 5:20 and so then my last was 5:17. My first mile was my fastest but it felt super easy. I don't know why because I have never felt like a 5 minute mile was easy. Once I race smart at region I should be able to do alot better. And we havent done really much speed so I still have somewhere that I can go. Excited for the season.

| AM: 3.4 this morning at 5 AM because I have seminary at 6:10.
PM: It was me Justin Craik Steven Jack and Caleb. We did alpine loop. It was at a decent pace. 8.1 mile with a lap around the field to finish it off.
This year at LP, Justin craik and I are taking over the Neature Kids club pretty much just so we can be in the yearbook.
