Root Beer mile today.  We had a good show out today and had to buy 144 cans of root beer.  Eugene from uintah traveled like 4 hours to come, joe benson from timp camp a bunch of lehi guys and a couple PG dudes.   So onto the race.  The first can went down pretty easy.  I took off right behind Galen.  I got to the second can and stuggled getting it down.  The third can was tough but the forth really was hard to get down.  Got a 4:55 minute PR from last year so that was sick.  We have our banquet for track tonight and they are getting costa vida so thats cool.

Ran the Mountain ridge 5k at the junior high.  We went out at a 5:38.  Than I dropped to a 5:45.  I finished with a 5:40.  Felt like I definitly could have gone harder but there was no point cuz I didn't register so there was no prizes and I wasn't top 3.  Excited to start training for XC next week.

And ya I know that the splits don't come to the time I put but thats what the clock said so I thought it looked cool to have that time.  I really got about 17:02 on my watch.

Today we hiked to the tree of knowledge and then to the top of mahogony.  Got some sweet pics so check out my insta for one of them.  My legs are kindof destroyed rn because of the way down.
